Hi!

105smokescreen

Hi! 🙂 Happy you came to check out my blog for Frank and Joe Hardy and Nancy Drew – awesome detectives who, with their intelligence, wit, courage, faith, and perseverance, have been solving crimes and disrupting and stopping bad guys’ activities in two centuries and in various places around the world!!! 😀

On this blog I want to share cool facts and trivia I’ve seen in the books I’ve read so far, talk about the many books, including upcoming releases and relevant Hardy and Nancy book news, plus have stories I’ve written that are inspired by the books. 🙂

Thank you to my family and friends who have encouraged and helped me greatly! 🙂 Most of all, I thank the Creator of us all for so many blessings. 🙂

Please comment and say hi! 🙂 I love hearing from friends – including new ones! 🙂

  4. Actually, there was life on earth before the internet! Almost 20 years ago I tracked down most of the Nancy Drew / Hardy Boys / Tom Swift / Trixie Belden / Three Investigators artists by using the old phone book method. At one time, we had about 300 pieces. Over the years we’ve sold off some, but still have around a hundred left. This art is one of two that we have featuring Callie. The other is a CaseFile, I believe. Something about a castle. This one was done by Paul Bachem, who did about 50 HB. We bought all of his back then. My husband likes this one, so it’s one of those we have had framed and hanging for years.

Most of the ones we still have are pictured on that chryamz comcast home page, including The Stolen Unicorn, where our daughter Julia was the model for, well, Julia in the book.

    • Lol, ok! 😀 Wow, awesome – great detective work! 😎 And what treasures you and your husband found – I can just imagine the fun of tracking them down and then getting to buy some!!! 😎 😀 You must have a fantastic collection! 🙂 The Smoke Screen Mystery is one of my absolute favorite covers – I’m happy to have the book, which has just as much action inside as on the cover – throughout the mystery and of course the finale with Frank and Callie and Joe and his Iola as they all escape the fire. 😎 Oh, cool, I’ve seen the artist’s name on some of my favorite covers – in the corner I’ve noticed it says “Bachem”. 😎 Great covers!!!! 😎 With a hundred covers, wow, that must look awesome!! 😎

Oh, that is so very cool! 😎 What an honor to be pictured on a Nancy Drew book, a Notebook! 😎 And the same character name! 😎 Very special! 😀 Hey, I get the “chryamz” – Cherry Ames! 😎 😀 I don’t have any Cherry Ames books, but I have a couple of friends who have found one or two and read them. 😎 🙂
