Drew Connections ~ Nancy Drew Books Game

You’ve seen the Hardy Connections game – and you know we’re not going to leave Nancy out of the fun, so here’s the word association game for Nancy Drew! 😀 Everyone’s welcome to play. 🙂 Have fun! 😀 Thanks for suggesting/requesting these fun games, Callie and Ritu! 🙂

Here’s how you play, post a word that you think of that is somehow connected or related to the previous word. Example ~

One Person says: Boyfriend
Next Person says: Ned

and it continues. 🙂 The next person might come up with tall, or dark, or handsome. 😀

Like with Drew Clue Words, please have answers from the Nancy Drew Mysteries book series. 🙂 And also like with the other games (and rest of the blog), Word Warrior will approve comments and take care of that to keep the games flowing. 🙂

I’ll start off with ~

Drew 😀

  1. words (I thought of several words I could type as my answer, Ritu, including beautiful, but finally decided on words. 😀 I love books! 😀 Has anyone read The Three Investigators? I’m reading those right now. Like the Hardys, Nancy, Scooby and the gang, they have some scary stuff but always a real reason behind whatever is going on. There are some good ones so far. 🙂
I hope everyone has a great week and to those who celebrate, Happy Independence Day tomorrow! 🙂

    • I recently stumbled upon one of “The Three Investigators” book, incidentally.(have yet to read) That reminded of these comments. 🙂 I have read a few of them in the past. Distant past. The thought of getting reacquainted with those three boys made me pick it up. 🙂

      • Hey, that’s really cool, Ritu! 🙂 Bob, Pete, and Jupe are cool detectives! Who’s your fave of the 3? What book are you reading of them?

        • I didn’t remember them enough to remember if i had a favorite, actually. And now, I have read the book I had brought. It is “The Mystery of the Invisible Dog”.

The mystery part was good. 🙂 Not sure about one of its aspect, though. As for a fave, no one stood out during this read. So, no favorite. 🙂 They are cool. Jupe seemed like a much better detective than the other two.

          • Oh, by the way, I didn’t remember that these boys used to take special interest in ‘unusual’/bizarre things. The question marks on their card “symbolizing the unknown”, as is said in this book. Is that the case in every book?

            • Yep, I’ve read that The Mystery of the Invisible Dog, some scary parts in that book. Interesting case. I didn’t totally like the whole book, but yeah, a bit of it was good. 😀

All three have their talents to bring to the investigations, good detectives. 8)

Mysteries to be solved and answers to be found represented by those intriguing ???. 😀 In all the ones I’ve read so far they’ve had some pretty unique cases, like The Mystery of the Silver Spider a short time ago. Also, a Screaming Clock in another. Yeah, I’d say some pretty unusual things to investigate in each one. 8)

              • So, we agree. 🙂

Yes, those ??? . It is true then, but I didn’t remember anything like that. I guess, all the different series books have mixed up in my memory after all these years.

  2. true

(I love The Three Investigator books! 🙂 Good point. 🙂 Thank you; I hope you had a good one, Hardy Sleuth! 🙂 )

  3. real (Thanks, Hardy Sleuth! 🙂 Yep! 🙂 My book-reading buddy sib and I have read some with more to read. Had a chance to get most of them the other year – such a cool find! 😎 Have found some in good condition, some in damaged condition, too. Intriguing mysteries for sure. Anything that looks like a possibly good mystery that we’ve come across in a used book sale, we want to read. 😀 )

  4. genuine (Hey, Hardy Sleuth! 🙂 Yep, I’ve read some of The Three Investigators! 🙂 They’re really good mysteries – very well-written! 🙂 😎 I love it that there’s always logical explanations for the msyterious circumstances. 😎 I hope you & the rest of the US had a great Independence Day & that the rest of the world has a great 4th of July! 🙂 😉 😛 🙂 😎 )

Please leave a reply - that would be awesome! :)
